Welcome to my digital teaching portfolio! My name is Karen Kaiser Lee; lately I have been going by Karrie, the name my late brother gave to me. My PhD is in English Rhetoric and Composition from Purdue University (West Lafayette) and I have experience teaching upper level writing courses, curriculum development, and writing program administration. I especially enjoy teaching courses in workplace writing (technical writing, business communication) and advanced writing courses. I am currently a full-time Instructor at Northern Illinois University in the Department of English. My research interests include the history of social media, and ways amateur experts produce documents and share information.
